Gustavo Hernández Calderón (he/him, they/them) is an activist, author, and scholar. He holds an MA in global studies from Humboldt University of Berlin, specializing in queer peacebuilding and social resilience. His research includes the analysis of the LGBTQIA+ population’s vulnerability in Argentina, Colombia, Thailand, Cyprus, and Nigeria. Gustavo is especially interested in future research on nonbinary gender constructions before European colonization and their resistance up to the present day.
