Matilda González Gil (she/her) is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes with a master's degree in international law from American University in Washington, DC. She was the first trans woman to lead the Secretariat of Women and Gender Affairs in Manizales, Colombia. Currently, she works at the Unit for the Search of Disappeared Persons, strategizing the investigation of missing persons from groups historically subject to discrimination. She is an artist who writes and directs films and acts in theater and films.
