Sushil Raj is the executive director of the rights and communities global program at the Wildlife Conservation Society, a board member and mediator with the New York Peace Institute, and a former member of the UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent. He has worked with the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Department of Political Affairs, the Ford Foundation, and other groups focused on the rights of Indigenous peoples and minorities.
