Tom Driver is a British-Brazilian Clarendon Scholar at the University of Oxford, pursuing an MSc in Latin American Studies. Previously educated at Cambridge and Harvard, Tom has also worked in Colombia and Brazil. While writing for a newspaper in Medellín, he covered several cases of human rights violations against Colombia’s Indigenous communities. Most recently, he worked with the Instituto Igarapé in Brazil, supporting their efforts to further nature-based solutions in the Amazon. Though his studies have shifted towards political science, human rights, and international law, Tom maintains an intimate understanding of Latin American cultures and worldviews.
