Lana Baydas, Ph.D., is the senior program manager at the ABA Center for Human Rights. She has authored and coauthored several  publications on human rights, closing civic space, and gender equality and holds a Ph.D. and LL.M. in public international law from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
