Lesley Carson has spent her career in philanthropy, advocacy, and public policy strengthening human rights. Most recently she directed the International Human Rights Program at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, where she cochaired the International Human Rights Funders Network and launched the SAGE Fund. Earlier she founded Forefront, the global human rights defenders network, and worked with Amnesty International USA and the US Senate.
