Rita Jalali

Rita Jalali is an International Research Consultant. Her research focuses on how disadvantaged groups organize to advance their interests in developing countries. She has published in various journals on race and ethnicity, caste issues in India, social movements, women’s issues in development, and civil society. Her current research involves examining how foreign funding impacts on civil society-state interactions in developing countries. She holds a Masters and PhD in Sociology from Stanford University, California.
