Sebastián León-Giraldo, PhD, is a research lead at Liga de Salud Trans and a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Government at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He studies how people become visible, or invisible, in national statistics, administrative records, digital platforms, and other systems that describe them and what this means for health equity and human rights in Latin America. His work combines academic research with public engagement and policy advocacy.
